I think I composed the music for this song. Rather recently actually. It was in New York City. I wrote it after a marriage proposal which I looked at, at this time in my life, with a rather jaded eye. The song is about the fickleness of younger men (and women). It seems like all is going really passionate and then, its like, 'Sunset Strip'(the classic movie with an older Betty Grable I believe). That means that the difference in age is unmanageable despite all the money and the elegance and unfortunately, the wonderful films with the lady as a much younger lady. The story goes is the young man fell in love with the movie star and pursued his passion only to find a lady much past the radiant loveliness of youth.
Anyway, a lot of people identified with this concept and we all got together and improvised a dance segment and this is the song that came from it. All this to say, I rather like this beautiful clip with these dancers. Its a really nice interpretation.
